Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for your great products. This is my first

year trapping and its sure got a hold on me.  I started opening day of trapping season and

was a little discouraged.  Things weren't really taking off for me and I was getting frustrated.

I started out focusing on coons and had little luck.  After a few weeks of driving out to check

empty sets I ordered some coon bait off another sight and to say the least I wasn't impressed

(because I caught nothing).  I was in Scheels one night and saw your "fox frenzy" and figured

it was worth a shot. I used it on a couple of my dirt hole sets and a couple pre-existing holes I

had put traps around and boy did it to be honest it took a few days to take off but it sure did work.

In one week  I had 5 coons, not that impressive I know but going from 0-5 is good enough in my eyes.

I had one dirt hole set in particular that I was really hoping for coyote.   After two weeks of nothing

I was about ready to pack it in, when one morning I came out and there she was.  My first coyote,

and she was a looker too.  I took coons out of the same hole 3 days in a row last week using the

Fox Frenzy and a Muskrat for bait.  I ran out of fox frenzy and ordered another bottle of it and also

a bottle of "primetime coon" and once again, your products did not disappoint.  Yesterday morning

I went out to move a trap that had the bait stolen a few days ago and when I got to the trap I was

shocked and overjoyed to see my first bobcat.  I caught her on the Fox Frenzy alone.  And if

that wasn't enough, last night a cold front moved though so I figured the coon would be active,

and since I had just put the primetime out the night before I was hoping to see a couple. 

Not only did I catch 3 coons, but 2 of them were the biggest I've ever encountered personally.

the big sow was just under 40 pounds and the other was about 32 pounds.  Again I just wanted

to say thank you and keep up the good work, and if the catching keeps up like this you can

definitely count another order from this satisfied customer real soon. Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know how well Coyote Volume I Video works.  I received

the video and supplies on a Friday, watched the video twice, dyed and waxed traps

on Saturday and set out 3 traps on Sunday afternoon.  It rained all day Monday

and into the night.  Checked traps on Tuesday, they were washed out.  Baited traps

and reset traps where there was washout areas around the traps.  Checked traps the

next morning and had coyotes in 2 of the 3 traps.  I have told a number of hunters and

they are amazed that I was able to trap 2 yotes!  I have enclosed 2 pictures, 1 is me with

a male coyote, the other is a female.

I met you at the Pa Trapper Convention.  After pouring through your books and

DVD’s – I hit the farmlands in my area with my MB 450’s…Needless to say – I

have caught 13 reds in a few short weeks!!!  All of my catches have been on either

Canine Candy or Fox Frenzy!!!  I know that isn’t a lot to some – but I have never

had more fun than checking my sets in the morning!  I can’t wait to get up to my

hunting camp in the Northern Part of the State and go after some ‘Yotes!!!!

I am 15 years old and just bought your DVD's and several lures and it was very helpful to me.

I have set out a lot of traps which I always had big disappointments, I would go check them and

they would be snapped off or dug up.  After watching your DVD's and using your lures, I set

6 Traps and had a coyote and 2 gray that next morning.  The Coyote was on a Q Tip with Songdog

Supreme and Red Fox Urine, and the Grays were on a double dirt hole with Widowmaker and

Fox Frenzy Lure.  Thanks for the good lures and all the helpful information.

Doctors say I have C.T.S.D (Compulsive Trap Setting Disorder), and the symptoms should

subside but will never completely go away.  Only side effects are that sometimes it is detrimental

to marriage.... Ha Ha Ha!  Just started and have only seven sets out for 10 days, and so far have

3 Coyotes, 3 Red Fox, 2 Coon (one Coon was 28 lbs.) 4 Opossum and one Skunk.

My son and I met you and your wife in Junction, TX. I didn't have any trapping supplies.

I bought all the stuff that I needed to get started from you and I told you that I should send

you a picture of my first one and it is a good one.  44 lb male. I caught him with fox urine on

a piece of wood that was behind a dirt hole that a raccoon stole my bait out of about 5 days ago.

I just left it alone and look what happened.  The set was 6 days old.  Thanks for your advise and

technique from your DVD.

I just finished my first year trapping and would have to say it was a

success.  I read many books watched many videos and tried a lot of

different things in the field, I have to say that in the end I found myself

using your methods at the majority of sets. I also used your lures and bait

at probably 60-70% of my sets, the other 30-40% I tried a bunch of lure

from many different makers, I had the most confidence in sets lured with

Fox Frenzy. Thanks for the great information and products! The one area

that I really deviated from your system was trap selection, I ended up using

MB 650 cast jawed traps that I was impressed with.  However, after using them

I feel that they maybe too much trap for coyotes, I don't really think that kind

of power is necessary. I am seriously considering going to the MB 550's that I see

you are now using.

Here are some pics of my success after a week of trapping.

Caught my first double this morning, 2 males.   So far I have caught 

 5 coyote, 1 fox, 2 coon and this is out of 8 sets. 

Your DVD and book are simply the best info I have ever come across.

 I had not trapped since high school, 25 years ago. I bought a dozen MB 

550s from you (hands down the best trap out of the box I have seen) 

lure, bait, and urine... followed your methods and the results say the 

rest.  Thanks for sharing the great info and super products.

I have been trapping since 1972.  And you can teach a old dog new tricks!!

Thanks a million!  I am sending you pictures of 30 days trapping in Georgia,

total catch was 167 coyotes, 37 bobcats, 54 fox, 87 raccoons, 22 otters, 3 muskrats,

and not pictured are 90 beaver. After buying your coyote DVD, we went from  

2 to 3 coyotes a day to 6 to 7 a day, and one day we had 3 bobcats... awesome!  Your

Fox Frenzy was absolutely crazy.  If we put that down at a set, we would catch a cat

the next day.  We cannot wait for this next season and you can count on another nice

I read the tread on Trapper Man from the young man Seth, that spent some time with

you and it reminded me, I needed to drop a quick line and say thanks.  I bought your

Book and DVD this past year and it has been instrumental in my making the leap from

nimrod to capable trapper.  I trapped in Ohio as a kid but had to learn "the hard way"...

This year I was able to go to another level thanks to your DVD and Book.  I took ya'lls

techniques and modified them to my area/resources and I've had a great year.  My

son has joined me on the trap line this year and it is great to watch him grow as a trapper. 

A couple real good tips that I remember every time I go afield from your DVD.....

"Multiple Smells"...."Most Often"..."45 in 45 out".... "9 inches and 3 inches". 

So thanks, your help is appreciated and if I ever meet up with you I'll say it in person.

Keep up the good work.... I have "tested" a bunch of lures in the past three years and

Fox Frenzy and Windwalker do well in my area.

a couple years ago. He's ate up now.  But since he met his twin brother

Mark June at the IL Trappers Convention in Pontiac IL he has been on fire!!

He even caught 2 yotes on the first night with only 6 sets he punched in

after work. I think he is planning on getting a Mark June tattoo sometime in the

near future. HA.  You got to love it. He duffs his sets while kneeling on his pad,

and then he says "ha guys say you can't catch a coyote on the first night",

"heck with that bologna".  I laugh and laugh. Now I know how teenage girls

get around Hanna Montana. He is a full blown Mark June Fan!  Thanks for

I would like to thank you for all of the information on coyote trapping you gave me.

I attended the Pennsylvania Trapping Convention in June and learned a ton from your demo.

I also talked to you after the demo and gained a lot of knowledge.   After that convention I also

bought your new DVD.  FANTASTIC!!  I recommend it to everyone.  At the convention I bought your

mink gland and fox frenzy and recently purchased Widowmaker Bait.  I've been at the trapping

thing now for 4 years, and always had the song dog avoid me.  This year I finally got an edge on them

"rascals".  I love it!   I missed them in the past, but now I fixed my problems.  Here is a picture of

my second dog this year.  It was caught on your Widowmaker and Fox Frenzy.  Nice female dog.

I was the one who helped you out in your demo this past year the the NTA in Goshen.

I am off to a pretty good start this year on my coyote line.  In the past 4 days I have caught

7 Coyotes (well on my way to last years catch of 38), 1 Fox and I caught my first Bobcat

this morning that I unfortunately had to turn loose because we can not trap them in Indiana.

All of my animals were trapped using your lures and bait.  They are great!
