Minnesota Brand-550-RC (2-Coiled)

The MB-550-RC has an outside jaw spread of 5 1/2" and an inside jaw spread of 4 3/4". The cast jaw face is 3/8" thick and the offset is 3/16". It has a Paws-I-Trip pan system and night latch dog. Pan tension out of the box (un-waxed) on the two coiled version runs an average of 2.1 pounds which we have found to be a very good number for a multi species trap. Tested extensively over a three year period on coyote, bobcat, red fox, grey fox, and raccoon. This trap is fast and excellent results were obtained using it two coiled. We do not recommend using the 4-coiled version if grey fox is your target animal. The 550 is an excellent live market trap as well as the trap to use on a mixed species line. Small enough for fox and tough enough for the nastiest coyote. (I switched exclusively to this trap on my coyote/bobcat line in 2008- Mark)

our Earth Anchor stake to the MB 550-RC (2-Coiled) with a

HD #6 J-rivet so these traps are set to use when you receive

them. Plus we include the T-Handle earth anchor driver rod.

You can purchase the trap with a 12" or 18" Earth Anchor attached.

Minnesota Brand-650-C with Malleable Cast Jaws

The new MB-650-C has the same adjustable pan system and the same heavy duty springs, chain, and

swivels as our original MB-650. The similarities stop at the jaws however as the MB-650-C sports super

heavy 3/8" thick, 1/4" offset positive locking malleable cast jaws. The inside jaw spread is 5 7/8". A real coyote machine!
